I went to Vermont 3.0 today and it was in my opinion success. I attended two panels: So you wanna, build web sites and So you wanna, be an internet marketer?
It was really interesting listening to all different panelists with different experiences and tips. In both panels I heard about importance of web analytics and networking for having a successful web presence.
There were also many tech employers presenting their companies and I couldn't believe how many I've never heard of (and I've lived here for almost 13 years.)
I'm glad I went there today and I will definitely go again next year.

Interesting article
I just read an article about web design firms that are holding domain names as "hostages". So it is good idea to think about choosing a good web design company and to buy a domain name in your own name, not let them buy it because than your business domain is registered under this company and if you decide to switch the company they could charge you a lot for this particular domain.

New Apple MacBooks are out. According to PC World their designs are slimmer, brighter and more power-efficient LED-backlit screens. They also have new graphics systems, buttonless trackpads, and more.
People should be using Mac's more. Mac's are much better for web and graphic design. If you are interested in video, they are really good for creating videos and home movies.
